First, as I stated earlier, I don't care whether or not I get points from you. You are a young, ignorant, liberal, moonbat idiot. Once you get a real job, raise and family and start making enough money to actually contribute to this country and start paying taxes, you probably won't wake up. You are still all fogged up by your shitty liberal public education. You probably didn't learn the "rest of that" in school because you were high on mary jane. First Amendment in the Bill of Rights: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." Hmmm...so where is it "verbatim" that it states a "wall of separation" between church and state? What so many people, including you and the liberal enclave in public academia, erroneously do is interpret this to mean a separation of church FROM state. This is not the case. What this clause was meant to protect us against is any established church or religion having a direct ruling influence within our government. In case you forgot, the Church of England was responsible for the persecution of those who had different beliefs, so those people came to the colonies to worship as they please. The Church basically controlled the king. If you didn’t belong to the Church of England, you were an outcast and second-class citizen. Think of countries you know of today where their respective religions play a direct ruling part in the government or are flat out theocracies. If you are a part of a religion that isn’t what the government says you should follow, life can be quite difficult for you and your religious choice may even cost you your life. This is what the first clause of the First Amendment is protecting us from. What it does not mean is that religion has no place in government. And it certainly states nowhere within the document that there is supposed to be a "wall of separation" between church and state. Far from it. So, to use your lingo, who's the fucking retard now?
