Installed it about a week ago and I'm very pleased. I've done the big three but I still get voltage drops and dimming lights so I now plan on grabbing a high output alternator and putting in a new battery. I have the gain set properly and can turn my head unit up to 49 out of 62 before I start clipping. My stock electrical with big three can't handle the power draw. I still feel like I could get a decent amount more out of my amplifier and subwoofer. If I upgrade my electrical could I push more out of my amplifier without clipping? I make sure I'm not clipping by using the light indicator on my gain control knob which has shown to be pretty accurate but I noticed that if I play decaf for a little bit, the subwoofer starts to get a little smelly. Could this be the voice coil or just excess glue burning off? I figured I would throw up a video of everything by next week just to show it off. This stuff is pretty addictive! Haha. I was already thinking of throwing a second one in.
