So I turned my car in to this one garage my dad always goes to, he tells me to always go to them, theyre trustwrothy, etc. They hold my car for a day, leaving me stranded everywhere i go, and it turns out they cant fix the AC. apparently they were extremely confused with all of the wiring I had behind my HU. Now I have a ford escort, which means i have to install that football plate so you can install aftermarket HU's. All of the original factory wiring is intact to the AC controls on that football plate, the only extra wiring is the harness for the HU and 2 sets of speaker wire for my tweeters. It apparently confused whatever they were using to check the AC electrical system. ? Okay, so i bought that. I go to pick up my car, and drive off. I get to the red light and I turn up my HU, noticing all of my settings were restored to factory and then some, sch as a preset EQ was on. as I turn up the volume.. my speakers give a big loud POP. multiple times. the second I hear that.. I get extremely pissed. I start shaking, I am horrendously furious, thinking they blew my 350$ rainbows. I run back to my mom that dropped me off at the shop, she was behing me at the redlight, told her what happend andn that she should follow me back So i get back to the shop.. ask what they did to my HU. They deny even going back there. It's obvious that theyve been back there, The HU was slightly sticking out, the faceplate isnt all the way in, the plate that goes around the HU exterior is UPSIDE DOWN. so i take out the football plate and i notice all the wiring tangled with everything, and he still denies going back there. I take off my door panel to see if my speaker was blown.. which was my first and initial thought. Turns out its fine. So i ask them what they did again.. deny again. so i switch the RCAs from the subwoofer with the frontstage.. adn turns out theyre fine. I insist that one of them have been back there.. he still denies knowledge. Adding to the problem that theyre sitting there lying to me, my cupholder is halfway out, all of my personal wiring that ive done in the passenger seat is sticking out everywhere, including the side panel that covers all of the dash's wiring. Needless to say.. I'm not going back. Thanks for letting me vent...
