Definately a good resource there. Certainly worth spending some time having a read. But to your post: Alright. That's pretty standard. What you have described is commonly known as a "component set." Why, might I ask, would you want to run 3 of them?Alpine makes solid stuff. Good choice. We're not building a home theater in your car. You have left and right. Sometimes front and rear but others like only fronts. That bit is all about personal preference. And there is no way to tell you simply that you need any certain number of channels. There are too many ways to accomplish similar goals to set any certain number in stone for you. (have a search and a read through the forum for the differences between active and passive). So, in one situation one "location", if you will, in your car needs 1 channel and another situation calls for 2 in that same location. You just stated that you want to run Alpine amps?!? I think, at the end of the day, you are trying to create and implement an enthusiast's setup with a novice's knowledge level. No, I'm not bagging on you for being a novice. We all started knowing...well, nothing (and don't let anyone lie to you and tell you otherwise ) But slow down a bit first and expand your knowledge base before you go and burn huge amounts of money on something that isn't going to give you what you want.
