I have a GC and an XBox, the whole sh*t about one being better than other is nonsense. The GCN has better games, and the XBox was free (Mountain Dew "Dew U" offer) and doubles as a DVD player. For my room, the XBox owns because it plays DVDs. However if I actually want to use a gaming console for games, the GCN is the clear winner, it loads faster, the graphics look better, the games are better, the only thing Xbox has for it is Worms 3d and Halo(2). That said, good games: Resident Evil (just about any) Timesplitters 2 Eternal Darkness Metroid Prime Metroid Prime 2 Super Smash Brothers Melee Need For Speed (underground and hot pursuit series) Soul Caliber 2 Pikmin Pikmin 2 There's a lot. One thing the GCN has for it is it's built like a mac, it almost programs itself a lot of the time, so we don't many of the "ruined potential" games we saw on the 64, which was insanely difficult to make games for. In Perfect Dark (N64), adding the easter egg "cheese", which was a basically a textured wedge in hidden spots in each level, took two weeks. Two weeks to make and skin a wedge, and place it in a spot. And you thought port displacement was difficult...
