I set the gains for my system with a DMM and the volume at 60/62 and equalizer flat. I saw in the tuturial you can have distortion through your head unit. Should i reset my gain so its at 40/62 to avoid distortion? I cant hear any distortion but deff. dont wanna damage any of my equiptment. Its a pain in the *** to set the gain on my comp. amp because i have to take the passenger seat out and unbolt the amp from the floor.... my head unit is a premier deh-p590ib. When i set the gain, the voltage on the dmm was constant... if that matters at all... idk if it would jump around if it was distorting.
