If you want your amp to peak at 1/10's the headunits potential then turn up the gain. If you want the amp to peak with the headunit then match them up. You can run an amp with full gain and never clip it....it all depends on your headunit and the volts that it puts out and when you want the amp to peak.</p></blockquote><p></p>
