[QUOTE="BreakingBad, post: 4007316, member: 569807"] Selling a used Eclipse CD5100 unit. Purchased this unit brand new with warranty (i would've had it fixed under warranty but i was in a dispute through the BBB with the company i bought it from, long story - i cant send it back for repair), it worked perfectly fine for about 3 months. Then, the defect showed it's face - Stuck CD mechanism that currently has a cd stuck in it. Now here's the situation.. The unit works fine with ALL of the other inputs/outputs EXCEPT the CD player. Now, for those of you who use IPODs or other input sources, this would be a hell of a bargain... but those of you who only use the CD mechanism, here is a chance to grab up a NICE head unit for a cheap price (in the end). I talked to Fujitsu Ten (or whoever makes Eclipse) and they said that if THEY do the repair, it would total around $100-200. I told them to go **** a ****. They then said a "Third Party Fujitsu Ten Authorized Repair Shop" could repair it for around $60. I have also heard of local install shops and local sub/car audio retail places do these repairs for around the same costs. So basically this is a brand new Eclipse CD5100 that needs the cd mechanism repaired, and its essentially straight off the shelf. What i paid: $399.99 + $32 shipping. What I am selling: The unit, the sleeve, the vanity ring and the face-case. The remote and other accessories were thrown away by accident when someone here thought the eclipse box was garbage (for some reason). SELLING PRICE: $100 + actual shipping (EDIT: NO TRADES) I will NOT go lower than this price as looking through ebay and other retail sites for awhile I've seen that this same exact unit really doesn't ever sell below $200 in working condition, and its normally a used unit with no warranty/refund etc. Ready to ship, PAYPAL only and people with REFERENCES or an established CA.com username only.
