If you are familiar with WINISD or UNIBox you can simulate different box designs to find out if you reach mechanical excursion limits. Xmax is listed at 18mm but mechanical xmax is greater than that before the coil would bottom out or strain the suspension. Thermally, if you plan on playing sinewaves with 1200W for extended periods of time I would imagine the voicecoil would overheat. 1200W is nice for dynamic headroom for music playback and with proper gain adjustment, box design and subsonic filter I think it would be a good setup and was what I had planned for it.</p></blockquote><p></p>
