I had it running off of a zx1000, so i'd say it hasnt seen more then 7 or 800 watts. It will ship in the Special box that JL sells it in with the wood baffle,450 shipped, or 500 local pickup with the box. it's an audioenhancers box that is appx 2.5 cubes tuned to 34hz. It was expensive, it's made of 1'' thick MDF and is the nicest looking prefab box I have ever seen.
