You're misunderstanding me. I didn't disagree with you with impedance. With that being said, yes you can take a 10k watt amps and throw at the sub and it'll handle due to the nature impedance of the motor design or the enclosure design. And to the average person, telling them to put 10k watts on a Z neo motor would be the best way to describe it. As far as the enclosure being able to allow for more power handling: Absolute. First is impedance as second is power dissipation through convection as you mentioned. Imagine being able to design a system with a blower right on the coil continuously. Is it possible, yes it is. Doesn't everybody know how to do it? Hardly. The enclosure design has barely been touched by people like PWK Pete or myself. While we analysis enclosure system as particle collision system, everybody else isn't. There are things that I know and understand better than anyone else. It's just like how people said a ported enclosure can never sound as good a sealed enclosure. I known otherwise for years, but until recently did people start to believe. So, what I'm saying is the enclosure itself can contribute to power handling via: impedance and extreme heat dissipation. I probably shouldn't have stated the 4k & 10k watts handling for the general. But I think you know what i mean. Tuan
