My friends and I decided to order a bulk amount of SoundGuard from Sammy on the forums. Absolutely excellent stuff and great guy to work with. Easily comparable to all the bigger companies. Heres my own little personal review of SG:

SoundGuard is a multi-layer vinyl liner composite deadening. To make it pretty simple, its a peel and seal, multilayered composite material with a semi open, semi closed cell foam, which provides a shock absorbing, noise penetration barrier and thermal insulation by mating a mass loader with an absorber/barrier. This opposes the single layer/thickness mat like Damplifier Pro (SecondSkin), or often "asphalt" mats which you see on ebay etc.
SoundGuard's design not only prevents a single panel from resonating, it also isolates rattles which occur when multiple panels resonate against one another. This is really high end stuff, you dont need to do several layers of it to get a good effect.
Although, for straight up vibration cancelation (like the inside of your trunk or your trunk lid), the Damplifier Pro beats it hands down, but if there is any resonance or rattling between various parts of your car (like your doors, your reardeck, your roof) this stuff really shines.
In final words, SoundGuard is an aide to a vehicle not only by improving SPL, but noticably its SQ, by not only stopping vibrations, but also preventing rattles in your vehicle.
We ordered 500sq ft (planned on doing 4 complete cars) and have a little less then 200sq ft left over. We need to get rid of it because its just a large amount of stuff in our way. To keep prices fair, we will do around $4.00 sq ft (shipped), which is better prices then regular Damplifier . Actual price will vary on how far away you live and the final weight of how much you want. Also, the more you order, the less it will be, because we need to see this go without bits and pieces of it left over. Here are some pics of it: ^This is quick install on my friend's rear-deck.^ Here are some nice visual comparisons of this stuff against Damplifier Pro (SecondSkin), apples against oranges basically.
