SOLD Hey guys, i have an Alpine CDA7998 for sale. No need to list the specs, since everyone knows about this headunit. I absolutely love the sound quality of this unit. Compared to my eclipse cd7100, the 7998 sounds good right out of the box. Unfortunately, the 7998 doesn't control the ipod, which is what i use as my music source 100% of the time. And i am also planning to use the JBL MS-8 with my stock headunit in the near future, so i might as well sell the alpine and use the eclipse for the time being. The reason why i am selling it for a low price is because the flip-out mechanism is a bit grindy. It's still opens and closes, but it is not really smooth. Besides that, everything else is working fine. The faceplate is in pretty good condition. No faded buttons and no visible scratches on the screen. I do not have the remote, cage, trim, owner's manual, and box for it. The owner's manual can be found online, and the rest of the stuff can be purchases pretty cheap. What is included is the wiring harness, headunit, and AI-net to RCA. Looking to get 150 shipped within the US. Thanks for looking PM me if you have any questions.
