Guys, come on - this thread is getting a little convoluted. There was admittedly miscommunication at the buildhouse and Kurt didn't choose to leave the woofers there. I should have made it clearer ahead of time that he should leave the woofers there regardless of what they told him about their performance, but alas hindsight is always 20/20 (unless you've had too many beers!) Honestly though, I think this thread has served its purpose and we are beating a dead horse. The buyer received woofers with a flawed construction and was thus unable to use them to their potential. He tried to return them directly to the buildhouse in order to avoid having to ship them, but due to the quick defence of one of the engineers there he apparently thought that the woofers were not going to be accepted as a return. While I use services from the buildhouse, in no way are they responsible for determining how I operate SoundSplinter and likewise in no way do I control how they conduct their business. Kurt still has the option to get a brand new pair under warranty, as well as two other offers I made in private in case he didn't wish to stick with the RL-i's. End o' story
