[QUOTE="CBFryman2, post: 2330888, member: 565445"] It sure is cool how someone who is sapposed to be engineering subwoofers decides to make a smart assed remark about my opinion of the american standard system. I was not only refereing to degrees, but also distance, area, volume, and mass measurements. On top of that. Celcius makes scence. Among other things, 1 100th of the temperature change between freezing water and boiling water. The Kilogram and litre make scence. 1 litre of water weighs one kilogram. The meter makes scence...no only is it divisible by 10's (meaning moving decimals instead of deviding by 12) it is 1/10,000,000 of the distance from the equator to the north pole. Weight (force) makes sence because it is the force 1 kilogram exerts with earth's gravity. Joules make scence because it is Newtons over distance in meters Wattage mage scence because it is one joule per second. I geuss it just annoys me that a superior system is taught like the bible in science classes, used for track meets and most other forms of racing, but yet we use it on the weather channel and on our interstates. Wattage is used in homes but horepower for engines and motors not in home appliances. The average american is an imbisul compared to the average citizen of a lot of countries that use the metric system yet they prefer a more complicated system of measurments? Boiling point is -24-25* C IIRC. If your car is getting that cold inside over night you probably dont have a stereo in it. And yes that is water. It's fun to make water freeze instantly.
