I often drive in the morning without clearing my windshield or it not being properly clear.

I add more snow or ice to mine.. best way is to hose it down the night before freeze.. get up and go

Before i built the garage, i would put a blanket across my windshield. I leave for work at 5AM. Screw scrapers and deicer, one is a pain in the azz and the other leaves streaks on your car.
