So a friend of mine has a P600x4 that stop working. The amplifier damage the IRF1404Z mosfets. Here are the photos I dont know why this happen so i start to look around. When i remove the cover from the other mosfets notice that one IRF3415 and a IRF5210 had rust plus some resistors were covered in something that looks like battery acid( I dont know if the correct term is sulfate). He has a carwash and moves water and some wet things in his trunk maybe it got soke in water?. Here are some photos Full look of the amplifier The problem is he bought the amplifier from a non authorized dealer so it has no warranty. He called fosgate and they told him they would charge him $190 to fix the amp so its a no go. I was going to replace the mosfets and check the resistors but i dont have an schematic to know the exact values. I graduated from electrical engineering recently so i have a little knowledge if some one has some tips or recommendations and can tell me other thins to check it will be appreciated thanks.
