Florida Heat Sukks

i just finished installin my amp and subs today and after a 15-20 minute drive the amp shut off cuza bein to hot. I had it turned up pretty loud, but i never thot it'd heat up that fast. Its so **** hot out today too. Orlando is way too hot in the summer, guess ima have to buy a car fan n install it in tha trunk lol.....

lets examine your install before we blame this on florida heat. first off, what amp is this? where is it mounted? how are your subs wired?

btw we set the record for most 90 degree days. we have had like 11 days of over 90 degrees wheras last year, we had 0. 90 degrees up in northern michigan is not common except for this year.

i just finished installing mine yestruday and i had sweat dripping down my arms so i couldnt split the - and + speaker wire from each other and sweat drops every were but my usamps i/s 2100 never gets close to being hot with the weather being 100F+
