Hey all, to people that remember my old OH MY GOD my RE 35.1d!!!!!! thread, here is some news for you... I called KB audio and explained the situation to them, and told them that (insert part number here) blew and so did (insert other part number(s)). They told me that I had to replace all of the mosfets on the inbound side of the amplifier, as well as the part that fried. The mosfets were easily found at http://www.partsexpress.com, but i couldnt find the other part (A1266) so I asked KBAudio to send me some, for some cash. They told me they'd do it for free. Two weeks later I call KBAudio because I never recieved the parts. I told them I'd pay them $5 to send me the parts, but they insisted they would do it for free. Two weeks later I decide to start looking online for the parts. I never found them, however my friend found a website that cross-referenced electronic parts, and we found that the part that I needed, the A1266, crossreferenced with another part, the NCE290 PNP (PNP = positive negative positive). Found the part on partsexpress, ordered it, soldered everything in. Went to the local Kroger parking lot to meet up with Mike (IwantseXXX) and hooked it up to his two SI Magnum 12's. We beat the hell out of it and nothing wrong happened. Success!!! Tomorrow I am going to hook it up to Mike's system and let him wang out with it for a day or two. Then we'll see the quality of my repair. YAY! Brian
