IMO - chop mat is easy to work with, because you can rip pieces off to fit your work area, and weave is awesome to get a really nice "final layer" of glass down to make it smooth as hell and eaiser to sand.they both work just as well as the other, but chop is cheaper and can be ripped. so thats what i work with.</blockquote>
