Hey, This will be the 3rd box I am building. All of the ones I have built have been ported and I never had a problem finding the subwoofer displacement. I have a 2008 Kicker 12" L5 and I can't seem to find out the displacement of it. I want to build the box to 2.5 cu ft @ 33 hz. I know I have to take the 2.5 cu ft and add the displacement of the port and sub. Also, what is the advantage of using a round port over a slot port? The first box I built used a round port and seemed to hit harder and more to my liking that the slot port. Is it just preference?
