I have been wanting to hear one of these subs for longest time. I right away opened it up and tested its ohms to make sure i wire it correctly and i wire it to .7 in parallel. by the way, this thing is heavy compared to the last 15" sub i had(earthquake magma). Here are some pictures i took right after taking out of package.

http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n103/theaznj/11142006002.jpg

http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n103/theaznj/11142006001.jpg

While installing the best i noticed the cone is VERY stiff and the surround area seems fine(kind if like when touching a blown speaker). I think to myself that this is a heavy duty speaker and it just probly needs some power to make it move. Then i beast into the box and then hooked it up in the car and i hear little to no bass. I turn it up about 1/4 way and i hear little bit but it sounds very high pitch for subs esp a 15". Then i turn it up some more and it starts making this crap sound. The sound u get when blowing a speaker with way too much wattage. I kind of give the sub a kock with my finger on the cone lightly and it doesn't even budge and is very high pitch(most subs i do that to give off a low tone or at least move). What is going on? The sub reads .7 ohms but plays and feels like it is dead. Also if it helps i'm powering it with orion 2500d. Any Ideas?

By the way i just bought this sub from a member on here last week.
