Okay.. I really don't like how the sub sounds running through the bandpass because it makes too much "Whooossssssh" sounds so what I did is that I stook one of my old stockings in the hole so it has a seal, Then I put electrical tape over the bandpass hole so it blends in with the box. And I had to leave a tweeter in the left side of the box because if I take it out, theres going to be a big hole so I needed to leave it in there to seal the box airtight. The tweeter is not hooked up by the way. And I like how it sounds better sealed. Louder than through that bandpass hole and the smaller box is LOUDER than the bigger box I had it in.. Id say 6db more because it was a real difference. I was playing the song "Hate it or Love it" and the drum beat has a little punch you in the chest feel... By the way my system setting is = Freq at 100hz, Gains at 3/4 volume, Bass boost=on(Adds +6DB).. HU eq= Bass= 0, Trebble=+6, Balance=0, Fader=0,Magna Bass=Off. So I usually listen to my stereo at volume 22/33. And if I don't want the door speakers that loud I turn the volume down to 16/33 and put the Magna Bass=On so that the bass still thumps. So yeah so far so good. With this settings I decide to see the sub excursion so I open the trunk door and the sub doesn't look like its stressing or clipping. I should make another video of the sub to see if the gains is alright or I can turn it up a little louder. Well, lets see.. What test tone is great to set gains with, Because its hard to tell if the sub is distorting.. It has so great quality!
