ok, i need to make ported boxes for 1 12 HC n for 2 12s HC i was trying to figure out "www.bcae1.com" tuning program. But some things are bothering me... 1. one box i was testing with is 32x14x11 (wxhxl) tuned to 32hz. it gave out a port length of 7.51in with port dimensions 3.76x1.88(hxw) givin a port area of 7.07 sq in. Ok, my question is, as long as teh port area remains the same, can i change the hxw dimensions? like instead of 3.76x1.88 i wanna make it 4.71x1.5, would it be the same or is teh 3.76x1,88 the optimized dimension to greatly reduce port noise? 2. is the tuner in bcae1.com fairly accurate compared to winisd? winisd sems to be a pain in the *** the times that i tried to use it. 3. most of the boxes i saw, the port's length would go all the way to the back of the box, this dimensions that its givin me out only go like halfway or something like that. am i doin this wrong? thanks
