As a 3rd or fourth fiberglass project, I'd like to create new door panels. I know how to mount speakers (supported mdf rings) but I have no clue as to how I could integrate other items. The items I need to retain are in red on the image below. In addition to that, I'd need to keep the window trim strip and make the small lip that the door rests on (right next to the window) The "pull here to close door" thing has a screw that I'd like to integrate into a glassed panel, so there would have to be a horizontal shelf with an indent to close the door with... Any ideas on how to work all that crap into a door panel? One solution to the window trim, handle, and lock button would be to get new door panels and chop off the bottom 3/4 of it, then 'glass the rest.
