I used some THICK fleece SOAKED in resin and then a single layer of 2oz mat fallowed by a layer of long strand fiberglass filler then a layer of bondo.  and if they are stron enough to hold 110lbs i think they will work fine for some 6.5'sHell, my fiberglass box i made for a pair of 10's a couple years back was only 8 layers, body kits on cars are only like 7 layers and they are stiff as ****!</blockquote>
