Faulty Amp/Subwoofer and Sparks

Then after about 15 minutes of checking wires, I smell burning and the power LED switches off never to turn on again.</p><p></p><p>Here's the best part, I had removed it from under the seat to check what the problem could possibly be and it was sitting on carpet. When I went to return it after it apparently blew itself so I can show SCA tomorrow that it was infact installed correctly, sparks started flying everywhere. For some reason, the mounting points of the subwoofer were now positively charged. It was literally short circuiting my battery. Needless to say, it's seperated from the battery now.</p><p></p><p>I don't know why, but the fuse next to the battery survived, and so did the fuses inside the amplifier itself.
