With that said, once the mods begin, they are cheaper for an LT1 to begin with, and also they dont have problems like the LS1s have once you start boring them for bigger displacement, and the iron block is a bit stronger when going with power adder situations. I think the biggest downfall of the LT1 is its more-cramped-than-an-LS1 engine bay and the biggest of all, the optispark. But they have a coilpack conversion out now that somewhat eliminates the problems with it (but not totally). Both are awesome engines in their own right though, but I feel the LS1 is just a better engine in almost all cases (save cost of mods, much more expensive). I think the LS1 got one of the Ten Best Engines ever made award. Not saying this because I have one, I'd honestly rather have an LT1 and save some cash, but I got this car three years ago and am too upside down to get out of it.

[QUOTE="josh99ta, post: 378418, member: 545886"] ss3079... The HALs are awesome, I really like the adjustability and it really does work, but if I had it to do all over again, in my situation, it's not worth the money. Good drag racing shocks if money is no factory, the new R front shocks are probably the best. Probably the second best shocks for sports handling to the Koni double adjustables.
