None of the subwoofers mentioned could separate every bass hit and it was an overall muddy sound. I listen to alot of music similar to the track listed above. [QUOTE="azbass, post: 2834745, member: 557015"] Is there a subwoofer out there that is considered faster than others? Is it possible to make a sub hit faster and cleaner with EQ tricks? And last but not least, is an 8" sub more capable of hitting faster than a say....12"?? "Pinkbox Special - Nice Guys Finish Last" is the name of the song. Its on the album called Creamfields mixed by Paul Oakenfold. It has a very fast hitting deep bass line. I brought the CD in to a couple stores by my place including Best Buy and Circuit City and tested a few subwoofers out with the track mentioned above. The subs I tested were the Polk MOMO's, Type R's, and the Kicker L5's and none of these subs could keep up with the bass line no matter what settings I tries to tweak. None of the subwoofers mentioned could separate every bass hit and it was an overall muddy sound. I listen to alot of music similar to the track listed above. So im looking for a woofer that has good output, hits low, and most importantly, can hit fast enough to separate all the fast bass lines in the music I listen to. Any help is much appreciated fellas.
