I have decided to sell off my Sony ES CDX-C90 CD player and XDP-4000X digital processor and figured I would offer it on the forums first before adding it to E-bay. This unit is notorious for it's impressive sound quality and matched with the processor will give you unrivaled control over your sound field. There are few other processors on the market that offer even close to this much precision and controllability. That is why it was THE go-to head unit for competition vehicles in its time. Note that this system requires the use of external amplifiers as there is no internal power to negatively effect the signal. The CD player is used and does have some scratches on the face. I don't have the original box for it, but I am including the wireless remote, wired remote with a brand new cable and base, and the bus cable that connects to the processor. The processor although used is in near perfect shape. I installed it in my own vehicle without the brushed aluminum top plate so it is in brand new condition. It also includes the original box and hardware. I am also including a Belkin RS-232C cable used for programming purposes. I am asking $1000 for everything. This is a bargain as the MSRP of both units combined was $2200. Everything is sold as-is. Here's where you can find the detailed specs on both units: Sony CDX-C90Sony CDX-C90 http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?g=300&i=158CDXC90&tp=5684&tab=detailed_info Sony XDP-4000XSony XDP-4000X http://www.matronics.com/xdp4000x/ With the above, it is best to download the Digital Sound Creator software provided on that page and play with it. You will quickly see how much control you have. This includes up to 72 dB per octave digital slopes on the crossover, precise delay and level control over each individual channel, and 10 bands of parametric equalization with fine tuning on the peaks/dips as well as the Q values. It has 8 channels of output, has optical connectivity to the C90, and provides it's own remote output for the amplifiers. It is also encased in a copper chassis to ensure no radiated noise can get to the electronics.
