i cant find neone to buy my eclipse amp

and im getting impatient to put my sub in

so im thinking im going to hook my type x up wit 250 a coil

so ill be running 500 on a 1000rms speaker

That amp should power that sub fine, if you want to gain a little effeciency then compensate with your box design.

difference between 500watts, and 1000watts, is a maximum 3dB... ofcourse, its going to be more like 1 - 2 dB due to power compression... but hey, if you wanne buy a new amp, then go for it...

THINGS THAT WILL ADD DB's

doubling power-apprx 3 dbs

adding a second driver- apprx 3dbs

switching from sealed to ported-apprx 3 dbs

you are really only going to HEAR/FEEL a difference if u were to do all 3 of those and get around a 9 db jump....

well 500 -1000 is a double power increase already, so i would hope there would be a difference
