I personally believe that He set everything in place and took his time allowing everything to grow. The first chapter of Genesis, in its original text, is like a poem, so taking everything it says literally would be a different interpretation that what I interpret it as. I'm also not saying that 1 day = 1000 years. That verse was used out of context when it was brought up here. It is saying that God is not limited by time.</p></blockquote><p></p>
