So running a testing and review site on my own dime for 5 years so that I could later develop my own products and sell then with the lowest markups in the industry was my diabolical plan? That would make me an idiot. I mean, doing it in the first place sort of does make me an idiot, but conceiving a scheme like that ahead of time would make it purely comical. I've found that accusations like this say a lot more about what's in the heart of the accuser than any objective reality. Speaking in absolutes: "i exposed don aka rudy for what he is" instead of: "seems fishy", or something like that also says more about the speaker than the target. Interestingly, some of the participants in these creation vs. evolution threads follow that exact pattern. They represent a position that I thought had been in decline since the dark ages. I call it aggressive Christianity. That's an oxymoron to me. It's marked by an extreme us vs. them mentality that extends to other Christian variants that are just slightly different than the aggressive Christian's. All efforts to reconcile faith and science are rejected as heresy. Worse, any means can be justified in the pursuit of the approved ends, including dishonesty. If your faith requires you to abandon your principles you have bigger problems than what other people believe. In a further irony, these are the same people who look for ways to legislate their beliefs without seeing that this demonstrates a lack of faith in itself.
