I just got off the phone with the guy that is going to build my box and supposedly he is a nationaly known figure. His name is David Goodwin and i've been talking to him about what i want to do and things and he says that it will be hard for me to achieve the mid to high 140's in db's in my 03 reg cab f-150. He says that its just really hard in a truck b/c they dont reproduce as well as like an SUV. He also told me that i could probably get louder with 2 10's and a big ported box then the 2 12's and a ported box thats not as big. I also told him that i want to use the Soundsplinter RL-p's and he said he's never heard of them. He wants me to do like a mid class Digital Designs sub like the 9100 line probably. He said that the 2 12's wont sound that good in this truck. So i dont know what to think or what to do. He said he can get me a better deal then the like $450 that i would pay for 2 12" SS RL-p's on some DD's but everyone says their doing like 145db's with 2 12" Soundsplinters. Should i stick with the SS RL-p's or what? Help guys Thanks
