eD is just not good. It amazed me to see people say that their products are good whatsoever. First of all, the owner of eD is a "real cool guy". Sarcasm, obviously. Second, everything they make is a rebadging or knock off of something else. Their ethics are just terrible. Even in their warranty. When the eD hype started, I had to pick up some of their subs just to be able to speak about their performance. The first one I got was the 13k on clearance. It sounded so terrible I thought something was wrong with it. So, I sent it back to them to try another. Afterall, it was under warranty. Guess what? They didn't honor the warranty, and they didn't send me another sub. No surprise there. So, for the sake of review, I got a 13o sub when it was on clearance. I heard this sub sounded similar to, if not better than, a JL w6. Simply said, this sub sounds terrible. It makes bass without any linearity or clarity. Why anyone would compare it to a w6, I have no idea. I have used several of their nine.x amps before, and they function. They aren't anything special, but they aren't anything terrible either. Their reliability has come to question several times. Issues with noise coming from the channels has cropped up a bunch. Bottom line, I personally wouldn't touch their subs with a ten foot pole. They are rubbish. If you can get a good deal on their amps, that may work out for you, but don't expect them to ever honor the warranty on it. Seeing as how they usually update their line every 2 years, that 5 year warranty becomes useless anyway on a discontinued product. There is also no sense to buy their stuff. You can get equally priced equipment that easily outperforms it.
