[QUOTE="CL_That_Thumps, post: 2689651, member: 568885"] allright i used to have 2 10 w6's in 3.5 cubes to 30hz, with an mtx 600 rms amp. and i didnt have any problems pounding that. when i wanted to upgrade i bought a 15" l7 in 4.25 cubes at 35hz , and a hifonics brutus bxi2006 (about 1750 rms). then everything went downhill. i have a 1997 acura cl. i installed everything and was able to listen to the system for about 2 days while the amp was turned up about 75%. and it banged loud. then the sub would just shut off and i would have to restart my head unit for bass to come back on. then one time it went off for good. i had all stock electrical then and 4 gauge wire to the amp. i then got a new battery and it worked fine for a day and did it again. when the sub "turns off" it just wont play bass, but the amp will not be in protect. is the problem b/c my stock alternator cant charge my battery back up?? is this because my amp has to much of a current draw for my stock electrical?? and if i do the big three with 0 g wiring will it fix my problem??? and if i do the big 3 in 0 g do i have to change the power wire, and ground to the amp w/ 0 g?? i think i only have a 60 amp alternator. also the inline fuse that i have by the battery is only an 80 amp. is that restricting anything? if so wat size fuse should i get, and from where??
