You can give it 500-1500 watts and it will sound good all the way through. I had the 15" in the trunk of my civic on 1100 watts and it wanGed haaaard for 1 15". People would always tell me they thought I had 4 12"s. Not to mention it did a 142 at the dash. Scratch the BTL idea, too much power needed and you'll need a larger box too.
