[QUOTE="audioholic, post: 2863046, member: 549629"] As Ive said all along, if you are happy with your eD products, more power to you. But the good rep thing is going to take a good long while of people having positive experiences with the company again to turn around their bleak history in that regard. It sounds like we have come to a point we can agree upon and move on. Finally. I understand your point, but I believe that doesn't quite cover this situation. Not to beat a dead horse, but Ben and eD were caught red handed out and out lying, to make money, off you and me. That's not a business stumble along the way to building a successful and reputable business, that (imo) is a scammer getting busted doing what he does. I was there, I read eD's website where it listed 'butyl rubber based' mat. I almost bought into, but I was skeptical. When I dug further, I found I would have been paying premium butyl rubber prices for what was actually the old inferior asphault mat. Then I see Ben personally make his excuses for it that range from the bizarre to the downright unbelievable. Only after being proven scientifically so as no doubt could be laid, that he was lying/wrong. What am I suppose to think? I recently read a review of eD's new 120mil super duper deadening mat. Its advertised 6mil of foil and mylar layer is exgarrated. And when heat tested is shown to be made of (at least) inferior quality rubber than competing products. And now their new super duper "W7" killer subwoofer soon to be released, that looks *gasp* almost exactly like a W7 (where it counts). Again, what am I, what are we, suppose to think? Seems like more of the same to me. *shrug* But the same to you Flip, I wish no ill will on people who use eD products. We are all in this hobby together. I just hope the next time you look through the vast selection of excellent car audio products to make your next choice, you remember eD is merely one company out there, and one who has a rep.... well... you know.
