I now know that I will like this forum, because there are some people that have strong opinions...however I will say this, (and these ARE FACTS) As a company ED has had success because of two things: Advertising (including word of mouth) and selling on price.  In the car audio buisiness you do get what you pay for, and the fact is that their subs are good for the price, but to put it bluntly...i think they sound like shit.  There are many many other speakers you could buy for just a little more money that would sound awesome...NOT including anything by JL.
