SQ to SPL argument...I love this. The best way to get a true definition of SQ is to compare subs. A lot of ppl who have had subs like the HX2, Comp VR's, etc...have never owned a sub like a Diamond Audio M5 or the like. Therefore, they think anything sounds good. SQ is subjective to the listener and that is the best way to put it. I'm not a SQ person b/c I like SPL. I really could give a **** how "great" a sub sounds b/c I only use my "good" subs for burbs. For my daily driving, I use two Thunder 8000 12"s, sealed off a MTX 1000d. That's almost insane for daily driving. MY SPL SUBS....ROOOOARH. Are my 2 L7 12"s...sit in my car for a minute. I'm sure you couldn't deal with it. Oh yea, and for the guy who said HX2's are winning SQ comps, that's because of the setup that the car is in. I bet I could get a Piece of Sh*t 75 Impala that is a pure rust bucket, and put a full Alpine Audio System in it with all the works...the Rockford Car would win b/c it looks better. SQ Judges look at the car, then they hear the music. If it were vice versa, then SQ competitions would be equal
