Message: <blockquote data-quote="joshpoints" data-source="post: 443235" data-attributes="member: 546465"><p>Are you sure your friend isn't sending them a clipped signal or too much power?  I've had my k's for nearly a year with no problems.  I had to wait a while to get mine I believe a month over the expected date.  I was mad.  But great speaker.  10X better than the JBL's I had.  Those things broke every 3 months.  Finally just gave up on them.  To get a speaker to last from JBL you have to buy their GTI series or maybe their power series is okay, but don't get the GT series or Lound and Clear series.  That being said these speakers in my opinion made up for the wait.  It's great to shock people with 10" speakers that aren't even made for SPL.  You know the people that buy alpine, kenwood and sony.</p></blockquote><p></p>
