I have narrowed my selection of sub amp down to the fosgate T-1000bdcp even though the speaker is rated to handle 750RMS, this amp provides 1350RMS at 2ohms so i plan on turning down the gain for clean power. Anyone have a similiar set up, or anything close? would like to hear what is working for others and what is not in this car or similiar. I prefer SQ over SPL, so naturally I know the sealed option will provide the SQ but at times when i want to throw in some old school Too Short and turn up the boost controller I would like to blow out some windows in the area. Im sure either way it will be loud. I had a Eclipse Titanium 10 in the past in a ported enclosure and i was impressed, just dont have not heard any eclipse in sealed.
I have an 06 Dodge Charger and cant decide if I want to go sealed or vented with this sub. I have room to do either, but ported will obviously take more space. Eclipse says 2.5cf-3.5cf for sealed, and 4.75cf for ported and tuned to 35hz. Thanks in advance for your input.
