It does not come up as ipod. You can't search through any menus, or find any songs on the ipod. About the only thing you can do is see the display info, and change to the next/last track. If you listened to playlists, then it would be fine, but if you want to scroll through or control and ipod, then you should just hook up a 3.5 mm jack to the A/V input for sound.If you go to the eclipse site, there is no mention of ipod anywhere on the page for the avn7000. Only info is to tell you how to get sound through when you have sirius and ipod hooked up together. In either the sirius mode, or cdchanger mode the controls are basically not there.</blockquote>
