Message: <blockquote data-quote="roarzorz" data-source="post: 3569894" data-attributes="member: 577193"><p>When we first got E85 around here it was about $0.50/gal more than regular 87octane.  After a few months of nobody buying it the price came down to $0.10/gal less than 87octane so I decided to try out some in my '06 Flex Fuel Yukon.  My gas mileage dropped from 18mpg to 13mpg and there was an immediate huge loss in horsepower.  With such a huge drop in gas mileage I ended up paying more money in the long run.  E85 will have to become considerably cheaper for me to ever use it again.</p></blockquote><p></p>
