Hello, I just purchased the dynamat bulk pack which has tons of dynamat in it. I have heard mixed things about using multiple layers. The guy at the audio shop said that it is a waste to put more than 1 layer. Is this true? I have enough for 2 or 3 layers in the trunk. I am using it for the following setup: JL 12w7 (1,000 watt RMS) in a ported box with a JL 1000/1 v2 slash amp. Should I just dynamat the trunk? If so, how many layers? Should I dynamat other parts of the car? I also am trying to decide if I need a capacitor or if that is unnecessary. Oh and I drive a 2008 G8 GT. Thanks!! John
