I've been looking into subs for my Kia Sephia. I enjoy all types of music, but my main 2 genres are hip hop and dub step so I need a sub that can punch and pronounce the separations between deep bass oscillations that fits in my budget. At first I looked into Kickers, but then I noticed the 15" BOSS CH153DVC (1000w peak, 500w RMS, 2hz-1khz, Dual 4 ohm) and it really caught my interest. Here are my questions: 1. Am I better off with a Kicker? This one is $20 cheaper and is reported to be incredibly loud in comparison. 2. How should it be mounted (ported, sealed, dimensions, etc)? 3. What kind of amp and how should it be wired? (CHEAPEST POSSIBLE SOLUTION, I dont care enough about the bass to spend more than 50-100 on an amp) Thanks for the help (P.S. Is it just me, or is this post submission system really glitchy? It took me 40 min to get this up >.
