Two amps. 1. Rockford Fosgate R500X1D Class D Mono Block----------For my 1 RF P2D2-12 sub •RMS Power Rating: ◦4 ohms: 300 watts x 1 chan. ◦2 ohms: 500 watts x 1 chan. Says use 4 gauge. 2. Hifonics ZRX600.4 A/B------------------ Running 4 6x9s •Max Power Rating: ◦4 ohms: 75 watts x 4 chan. ◦2 ohms: 150 watts x 4 chan. ◦Bridged, 4 ohm: 300 watts x 2 chan. •8 gauge power wire to use So how big should the main power wire be? 2 gauge? Then into a DB with 4 gauge going to the subs amp and 8 gauge going to the speakers amp both like what they recommend. Or could I go 4 to both amps from the DB from the 2 gauge main power wire? Or can I just run 4 gauge everywhere. With fuses in the main wire, then after DB one in each power wire? Just worried that its too much power going into one wire. Just need a clear path to take and go from. I already have a 8 gauge wire kit from past hook-ups. I plan on doing this my self so don't tell me to get it professionally done...
