My amp is 4 ohms bridged. I think the only way to wire one sub per amp would be to wire the subs with a combination of series and parallel which would bring it to an 8ohm load. I would like to get it down to 4-ohms so I could get my full 460 rms to each sub. ****IT!!! should have bought the Dual 2 ohm subs... So im only going to get 230 to each sub, right? Piss.
Okay. So yesterday I found a pair of brand new Hifonics Brutus 12's on ebay for 150 shipped. I have 2 Kenwood KAC-7201 amplifiers and now 2 of the Hifonics Brutus subs. I want to wire ONE sub PER amp. But I've been searching and I dont think its possible to wire a Dual 4-ohm sub to 4-ohms... Piss. I'm going to have to send them back.
