Driving back to school I noticed that there was no sound coming from my drivers side speaker. I'm running Infinity Kappa Components (6.5) powered by a US Acoustics 80x2 Amp and an Alpine HU. I get very very faint sound from the woofer and no sound from the tweeter. I switched the RCA L/R connections at the amp, and the problem continues on the driver's side. I switched the amp L/R outputs and the problem is still on the driver's side. The connections at the x-over are good. The only thing I have left to do is pop off the door panel and check the connections, however they all should be good, and the fact that I'm getting some sound from the woofer would suggest that there is a connection. So, could the x-over have failed? How can I test it? Would a disconnected tweeter cause this problem? Is it possible somehow that the amp has failed in some way? Any help is appreciated, I'm not really sure where to go from here. Thank you!
