Hello I am designing my door build and am running into an issue. This is my midbase: http://www.cdtaudio.com/pdf/ES-6_07.pdf Obviously it is better ported but I don't know how to make it work. I think I will be able to make enough room in the door to accommodate the 0.5 cu ft I will need. It would be a oddly shaped fiberglass enclosure with an MDF ring for the speaker to mount to. And I might be able to have enough room for the port but I don't understand how placement would work. If I make it like the diagram it would be in the door. And after all the sound deadening that would make it a ported box inside a sealed box. I would not be able to face the 11" from the door straight into the car either. Do they make ports that are curved so I could point the port out next to the mid? Or could I sound deaden the entire door (outer skin, inner skin) and just not close up the inner skin? So that way it would have access to free air? What do you guys think Thanks! Chris
